Named after her grandmother, Dottie’s Delights is the work of designer Stephanie Kuhr, who has always had an affinity for the vintage aesthetic. She graduated from junior high in a 1930′s ribbon dress and never looked back! The textiles, construction and attention to detail of vintage clothing continue to inspire her designs.

In 2010, Stephanie was selected as one of the six designers in residence at the Chicago Fashion Incubator. Since then, Dottie’s Delights has been featured in major publications with industry heavyweights including Carine Roitfeld, Ellen Von Unwerth, and Sasha Samsonova and in TV and theatrical performances including:

  • Showtime’s Masters of Sex
  • TNT's Claws
  • New York City's Sleep No More

Our pieces have been worn by celebrity figures including:

  • Nicole Kidman
  • Kylie Jenner
  • Violet Chachki
  • Erika Jayne
  • Amanda Lepore
  • Kristin Chirico of Buzzfeed's Ladylike
  • Arantza Fahnbulleh
  • Sunny Holiday of Post Modern Jukebox
  • Ubah Hassan
  • Tiana Parker
  • Yeha Leung
  • Gia Genevieve
  • Holly Madison
  • Sabina Kelley
  • And by burlesque performers and troupes the world over

In 2014, Dottie’s Delights partnered with vintage icon Mosh for their first full collaborative collection “Sheer Show” that continues to be a best-seller season after season. In 2015, Stephanie relocated to Nashville, TN and continues to expand the business as excitement and awareness continue to grow.

Today, Dottie’s Delights produces one new collection each year, each inspired by a different facet of a vintage aesthetic from the turn of the century through the 1960’s.
